Born in Hong Kong in 1993, Leo Ma is a photographic artist and a member of the Hong Kong-based collective Ménos. With a foundational career as a visual journalist for major, Leo’s practice is deeply rooted in the urgency of documentary and street photography.

His works abandon a traditional documentary method, instead he uses a personal, emotional approach to respond to societal phenomena.

Works have been featured in Ménos collective exhibitions and published in the photobook The Weight of Silhouette. In 2024, his pieces were exhibited and acquired by La Galerie Paris 1839 and various private collectors in Hong Kong.
